Community Weblog Survey Report

2. Method

A questionnaire was developed on the basis of the stated objectives. This consisted of 15 items, plus some supplementary items.

The questionnaire was made available via the smithstreet.org website, and also, in paper form.

It was considered that, given the exploratory nature of the research, that a convenience, open-ended sampling of the population would be relevant and resourceful.

54 persons completed the questionnaire.

This represented an approximately 10% response rate, based on the number of questionnaires distributed.
