Richard Wynne MP, State Member for Richmond, writes to local residents and businesses objecting to the proposed development for these reasons: its scale; selective use of Melbourne 2030 principles; deleterious effect on surrounding heritage buildings and streetscape; overshadowing and overlook of neighbourhood properties; and inappropriate size of Little Oxford Street to support increased traffic.

'Oxford Street Action Group' holds public meeting at Vibe Cafe on Smith Street, Fitzroy, in response to concerns about Banco's planning application and to discuss fighting the proposal.
