Deadline for Banco to resubmit development plans for Smith Street Collingwood.

CAG provides Yarra Council with preliminary views on a communication strategy re the proposed Banco development for Smith and Little Oxford Streets Collingwood. CAG outlines general principles for consultation, and suggestions for consulting according to two scenarios: either Banco submits revised plans by 31/1/05 or fails to submit revised plans by 31/1/05. CAG proposes that under both scenarios Council holds a public meeting to update the community, which should be advertised via leafleting Langridge Ward, writing to the 1500 objectors, and placing notices in local papers and on websites. CAG requests further discussions with Council on the public meeting's purpose, format and venue.
