REMINDER SAVE SMITH STREET RALLY SATURDAY 27 AUGUST 11 A.M.
Roll up outside Smith Street's Grace Darling Hotel, Saturday 27th August 11 am. Hear from Rod Quantock (Comedian & Deputy President Protectors Public Lands), Steve Jolly (Yarra Councillor) and Ian Quick (SOS President) about what you can do to Save Smith Street.
There’s still time to stop Banco demolishing a whole block of Smith Street, Collingwood and building 3 high rise apartment towers, a massive underground car park and a shopping mall. Planning Minister Rob Hulls has called in Banco’s plans and referred them to an independent panel for decision. Here’s our chance to get development in line with community values. Make yourself heard for a neighbourhood with variety, heritage and a human scale, not towers and a shopping mall!
